Biography
Bakhromdzhon Radzhabovich Akhmadov was born on November 7, 1975, in the Rudaki district of the Republic of Tajikistan, to a family of employees.
In 1998, he graduated from the Shirinshho Shotemur Tajik Agrarian University and began his career at the same university as an assistant in the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, serving until 2003, and as a senior lecturer from 2003 to 2008. He also completed his postgraduate studies from 2000 to 2003. In 2006, B.R. Akhmadov defended his PhD dissertation before the Dissertation Council of the North-West Research Institute for Mechanization and Electronization of Agriculture in St. Petersburg.
In 2008, he was elected to the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Theoretical Mechanics. From 2001 to 2009, B.R. Akhmadov was Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization.
From 2009 to 2019, he served as Dean of the Faculty. For six years (2013-2018), he was Associate Professor in the Department of Theoretical Mechanics and Engineering Graphics.
In 2018, B.R. Akhmadov He defended his doctoral dissertation on "Improving the Technology and Technical Means for Re-seeding Agricultural Crops in the Republic of Tajikistan" at the Dissertation Council of the Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter the Great, Russian Federation, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences.
Since November 1, 2018, he has been a professor in the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Agricultural Processing.
On September 4, 2019, B.R. Akhmedov was appointed Deputy Rector for Science and Innovation at the Tajik Agrarian University named after Sh. Shotemur. B.R. Akhmedov is the author of 150 scientific articles, five textbooks, and holds 15 invention patents. Under his supervision, four candidate dissertations in technical fields have been defended, and he currently supervises the research of four PhD candidates. In 2010, he was awarded the Ismoili Somoni Prize, in 2011 he was named Tajikistan's Best Inventor of the Year, and in 2014 he was awarded the "Honored Figure" medal.
