The theoretical and scientific-practical journal "Kishovarz" is the founder of the Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinshokh Shotemur. Published since 1997 in Tajik, Russian and English. Since 2000, the journal has been recognized as a scientific journal.
The content of the theoretical and scientific-practical journal "Kishovarz" was checked by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and recognized as the best among other journals in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan, and took second place. The journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed literature of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for another 5 years, that is, until June 2029.
The journal was published on July 4, 2024 under number 368/MZh-97 under the name of the journal of the Tajik Agrarian University Kishovarz "at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to reflect modern scientific achievements and achievements in the field of the agro-industrial complex and publish scientific works of scientists registered with organizations publishing in Russian and Tajik languages. It was registered in the state notary office of the Ismaili Somoni district of Dushanbe and entered in the State Register of Information Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan at the National Patent and Information Center of the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, by issuing a certificate of state registration of the information resource.
The journal is registered in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) No. 187-06/2020.

Kishovarz magazine publishes theoretical, scientific and practical articles on various areas of agriculture every three months in three languages (Tajik, Russian and English) and provides them to its readers. It includes agricultural sciences (agronomy, horticulture and agricultural biotechnology, animal science, veterinary medicine), engineering (agricultural mechanics and irrigation), economics (economics in an agro-industrial society).
Internationally, the magazine has a certain position, and articles from distant and near countries are sent to the editorial office to publish the title of the publication. The editorial office receives many articles from most research institutions and universities of the republic. In 2010, the journal was included in the list of leading journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, which should publish scientific and practical articles on the topics of candidate and doctoral dissertations, and there was a list on this subject until January 1, 2016.
The Regulation on the theoretical and scientific-production journal "Kishovarz" was approved in 31.03.2021 by the Academic Council of the University, which operates on the basis of the University Charter. To improve the conditions of publication, the site of the theoretical and scientific-practical journal Kishovarz operates (the site of the Kishovarz magazine htth :\\kishovarz.tojagroun.tj), which, along with the necessary information, also determines the number of readers' needs for published articles.
Before entering the editorial office, scientific articles undergo anti-plagiarism (originality) and are checked by linguists and commentators, after complete editing they are published in the journal. The magazine is published 4 times a year (quarterly) with a volume of 400-430 pages (50-53 printed parts).
