1. Publishing Ethics

Failure to adhere to the ethical principles of scientific publications undermines the credibility of science and the quality of scientific publications. Therefore, ethical principles for publishing scientific materials are the key to scientific development and a prerequisite for improving the quality of authors' scientific work.
The editorial board of the journal "Kishovarz of the Tajik National University" strictly adheres to generally accepted ethical standards for publishing scientific materials in its publishing activities and requires authors to adhere to these principles. To this end, the editorial board is guided by the Declaration of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers "Ethical Principles of Scientific Publications" and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
2. Ethical Standards for Authors
– All co-authors must be notified of the submission of a manuscript to the journal. Therefore, each author must sign the manuscript and consent to the publication of their material.
– The procedure for listing authors is determined by the group of authors before submitting the manuscript to the editors.
– The manuscript presents the results of original scientific research. Borrowed fragments or statements must be formatted according to citation rules, with the author and original source indicated.
- Excessive self-citation or excessive citation of a supervisor, boss, or colleagues is unethical.
- The manuscript must be unpublished material and submitted to the editors for the first time.
- The authors of the article are those researchers who were directly involved in writing the article, developing its concept, collecting data, analyzing, and interpreting it. The names of individuals who made a specific contribution to the preparation of the manuscript, but not sufficient to warrant authorship, are given in the "Acknowledgments" section, indicating the scope of their work.
3. Ethical Principles of Review
- A reviewer cannot be a member of a long-standing research team that includes the authors of the work being reviewed, nor can a repeated co-author of any of them on other works be a reviewer.
- A supervisor (research advisor) of any of the authors applying for an academic degree cannot serve as a reviewer. – The reviewer is an expert in the subdisciplinary field covered by the manuscript being reviewed.
– The review must objectively evaluate the scientific article and contain a comprehensive analysis of its scientific and methodological strengths and weaknesses.
– The reviewer must not use information about the content of the work for their own personal gain before its publication.
– The article being reviewed is a confidential document and must not be shared with third parties for review or discussion.
