Articles submitted to the editorial board undergo a preliminary review (conducted by editorial board members who are specialists in the relevant field of science) and are accepted in accordance with the established procedure. Requirements for the formatting of original articles are provided in each issue of the journal.
If a manuscript is accepted, the editors notify the author of any comments regarding the content and formatting of the article, which must be addressed before submitting the text for review.
Articles are then subject to mandatory review by members of the journal's editorial board or experts in the relevant field (candidates and doctors of science).
The review must contain a reasoned statement of the article's merits, including the scientific novelty of the issue, its relevance, factual and historical value, citation accuracy, style of presentation, use of up-to-date sources, and a reasoned list of its shortcomings. The conclusion provides an overall assessment of the article and recommendations for the editorial board: whether to publish the article, publish it after revision, send it for additional review by a specialist in the relevant field, or reject it. The review must be at least one page long.
An article accepted for publication but requiring revision is sent to the authors along with the reviewer's and editor's comments. Authors must make all necessary corrections to the final version of the manuscript and return the revised text, along with an identical electronic version, to the editors along with the original manuscript. After revision, the article is reviewed again, and the editorial board decides on its publication.
An article is considered accepted for publication if it receives a positive review and is supported by the editorial board members. The order and sequence of publication of the article is determined based on the date of receipt of the final version.
Manuscript review is confidential. Disclosure of confidential details of the manuscript review violates the author's rights. Reviewers are not permitted to make copies of articles for their own use.
Reviewers, as well as members of the editorial board, are prohibited from using the information contained in the manuscript for their own purposes prior to its publication. Reviews are kept by the journal's editorial staff for five years.
Upon request, the journal's editorial staff will forward copies of reviews to the relevant competent authorities.
